My sister-in-law Diane (Dee Dee to me) gave of herself completely for her sister, Martha (Marti) Marlin in 2006! My loving wife was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005 just before Thanksgiving and was admitted to Baptisr East Hospital. After testing, Dee Dee was found to be a perfect match for a stem cell transplant for her sister. In February 2006 Diane went through the grueling procedure of giving up her stem cells through a difficult blood transfusion. Well, as we know, her sister Martha did not survive the transplant and passed on February 3rd. Diane did as Jesus taught us to do, give of yourself for your fellow man! I will be eternally grateful to Dee Dee for that gift of love she gave to her sister! Diane you are in my thoughts and prayers daily as you go forward in your fight. Thank you!
